Janice Brewster
Janice Brewster founded First Impressions in 1998 after years of experience in design,real estate and couture fashion. She has a BA in Interior Design from Parsons School of Design in New York City and Paris and an Allied ASID designation. Her travels and studies within the United States and abroad as well as a fierce love of architecture led Janice to interior design. Janice designs high end properties from coast to coast. Her reputation is impeccable and she is respected by clients, peers and tradesmen.
Her greatest gift is her ability to reflect each client's personality and lifestyle in their homes.
Janice prides herself on treating each project as if it were her first. She is meticulous down to the final detail. New textiles, products, and technology continually enhance her ability to bring her client's dreams to fruition. When asked which of the projects she personally likes the best… Janice will say… "the next one".

Our specialties lie in design-to-build, highrise, and remodeling. We are unique in that we are completely hands on and act as the liaison between construction crew and client. First Impressions works with the client, architect, project manager and trades, from the initial phases of design throughout the building process, each detail of which is presented by autocad drawings and renderings where applicable, coupled with the essential documentation to keep all parties aware of product specifications and change orders; when applicable. Teamwork, communication and professionalism along with talent equal stunning environments. First Impressions is not limited in scope or design style, and works are available for website viewing as well as published works. We design everything including high style European, high rise - high tech contemporary, Spanish Colonial hacienda, horse ranches, and oceanfront properties.
